Twelve teams set to battle in National Women’s Championship
The Eritrean National Football Federation (ENFF) has organized a 2-week National Women’s Club Football Championship.
Paulos Weldehaimanot Andemariam, the ENFF President says the Championship will take place February 1- 16th, 2025 in Asmara.
He said the twelve teams from five regions will participate in the competition that aims to promote women’s football in Eritrea. The Football body also hopes to use this Championship to test players and also evaluate the Women’s Football League.
“We are determined to keep developing Football from the grassroots and not forgetting the women as well,” added the ENFF President.
