Godaif’s forward Yokabel Menges scores hat-trick to silence Sembel
The Eritrean Women’s Club Championships finally kicked off on Saturday in Asmara.
Denden FC brushed a side Segen FC 1-0 I the opening match, while Anseba FC stopped Gash Barka 2-1 in the second match.
On Sunday young forward Yokabel Menges put on a sensational performance to scores a hat-trick as Godaif FC defeated Sembel FC 3-1.
“I am very happy to score three goals for my team today. But we need to keep working hard because there are more matches to be played,” said a happy Menges.
Action continues on Monday with Edaga Hamos taking on Geberet.
The Eritrea National Women’s Club Championship organized by the Eritrean National Football Federation (ENFF) will run for 2-weeks.
