Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations lines-up seven tourneys for 2022
The Council of East and central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) has line-up seven tournaments to take place in 2022.
Uganda was already selected to host the CECAFA Senior Women’s Championship during the CECAFA Extra Ordinary Assembly held in Arusha, Tanzania in February 2022.
The Uganda Football Federation has already communicated that they will host the Championship between May 22 to June 5th.
Uganda has also sent their bid to host the qualifiers for the Pan African Schools Cup.
Auka Gecheo, the CECAFA Executive Director also made it clear that the region will host the Zonal qualifiers for the AFCON U-17, AFCON U-20 and CAF Women’s Champions League. The CECAFA Kagame Cup and the CECAFA U-23 Championship will also take place.
