Eritrea’s Daniel Yohannes selected to undertake FIFA technical Leadership Diploma course

The technical director of the Eritrean National Football Federation (ENFF), Daniel Yohannes has been selected to undertake a FIFA technical leadership Diploma course.

It is the first time that a member of ENFF has been selected to attend a FIFA leadership course.

Yohannes expressed his excitement and pride after being selected among 50 technical directors worldwide for this elite program.

He highlighted that his selection came after successfully passing an exam in two key categories, demonstrating his expertise and commitment to football development.

The ENFF technical director stated that this milestone opens a big opportunity for Eritrean football’s growth and future development. Yohannes says he is optimistic that the knowledge and experience gained from this program will contribute to strengthening football structures in Eritrea, improving coaching methodologies, and advancing the overall football system.

FIFA expressed their delight in welcoming Yohannes to the program, acknowledging his years of dedicated service as the ENFF’s Technical Director. “His selection underscores his expertise, commitment to football development, and potential to contribute significantly to the sport’s growth,” said the World Football body.

“The ENFF is incredibly excited for Yohannes to be a part of this esteemed program,” said Paulos W. Andemariam, President of the Eritrean National Football Federation (ENFF). He made it clear that this is a fantastic opportunity for Yohannes to enhance his leadership skills, expand his knowledge, and bring back valuable insights to further develop football in Eritrea.

“We are confident that he will excel in this program and represent our nation with distinction,” added the ENFF President.

The FIFA Technical Leadership Diploma is a comprehensive program designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead and manage football organizations effectively.

The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including strategic planning, financial management, communication and governance.
