Eritrean delegates attend first CECAFA/CAF Media Officers Workshop in Kenya
Two delegates from the Eritrean National Football Federation (ENFF) successfully attended a 3-Day CECAFA-CAF Media Officers’ workshop which ended on April 30th in Nairobi, Kenya.
Eritera was represented by Abdella Mohamedali Abdela and Danayit Tesfaezgi Kifleyesus at the Workshop which took place at the Swiss Lenana Mount Hotel.
The Workshop, the first of it’s kind in the Zone attracted over twenty participants from 11 Member Associations.
CAF Media Manager Charlotte Pelagie Eyoum, and CAF Consultant Mondher Chaouachi from Tunisia were the instructors for the Workshop which had lots of engagement, discussions, interactions and practical sessions.
“I am very happy that we attended this workshop because we have managed to learn many things that we shall now implement in Eritrea,” said Abdela.
Kifleyesus thank the Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for organising the workshop which has helped enrich their knowledge.
The guest of honour, Gen. Augustino Parek Maduot, who was on Thursday last week confirmed at the Acting President of CECAFA urged all participants to take the knowledge gained and put it into good use.
The workshop attracted participants from Eritrea, Rwanda, Zanzibar, Uganda, Tanzania, Somalia, Djibouti, South Sudan, Kenya, Sudan and Burundi.
