The final four teams to make the Cecafa U-15 Challenge Cup on-going in Asmara, Eritrea have been confirmed.

Kenya who top Group A together with second placed Burundi were the first to book places in the knock out stage on Thursday.

On Friday Rwanda’s Junior Wasps beat Tanzania 2-1, while Uganda also qualified. Uganda was leading South Sudan 5-0 before the game was stopped after 51 minutes when five South Sudan players fell down injured and could not continue.

The FIFA rules stipulate that a match is called off if a team cannot raise seven players.

In the first game Rwanda’s captain Kenedy Hoziyana gave his team the lead after four minutes with a hard shot to the corner that Tanzania’s goalkeeper Rashid Miraji failed to stop.

But after only four minutes Tanzania leveled matters with Rabbin Sanga Katuli converting a penalty after Rwanda’s goalkeeper Christian Nsimiyimana brought down Joseph Gaby Fundumo in the box.

Rwanda reclaimed their lead after 33 minutes with a well taken Eric Irahamye strike.

In the second half Tanzania kept the ball in Rwanda’s half for most of the time but they were not sharp enough at goal. Fundumo, and skipper Juma Ladaki Chasambi had chances to score but blasted wide.

For the Uganda against South Sudan match Abasi Kyeyune has netted a hat-trick, while Travis Mutyaba and Devis Ogwal scored a goal each.

The tournament which has attracted 10 teams and financed by FIFA will climx with the final on August 30th.
