ENFF President Attends WAFU A General Assembly in Banjul

The Gambia welcomed football leaders and delegates from across West Africa to Banjul for the 15th WAFU A Ordinary and Elective General Assembly, with all nine Member Associations represented.
ENFF and CECAFA President Mr. Paulos Woldehaimanot attended the gathering, joining football leaders from across the continent for discussions on regional cooperation and the continued development of the game.
During the General Assembly, Mário Mendes Semedo, President of the Cape Verdean Football Federation, was elected as the new President of WAFU Zone A, succeeding Lamin Kaba Bajo of The Gambia. Mahazou “Baba” Cisset of Mali and Babadi Kamara of Sierra Leone were also elected as vice-presidents.
The gathering formed part of a significant weekend for football in The Gambia, which also included the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU A Qualifiers and the inauguration of the WAFU A headquarters.
